Primelocation.com is the UK's leading website for quality estate agents and property.
The site was launched in 2001 by a consortium of over 200 leading independent
estate agents across the UK, who wanted to be at the forefront of online property
marketing.
In January 2006 the company was bought by Daily Mail & General
Holdings Limited as part of its further expansion into the online business sector.
Primelocation.com
aims to provide an effective medium for those buying, selling, renting and letting
property in the UK and overseas. It accepts property listings only from estate
agents, letting agents and new homes developers. The site attracts more than 2
million visitors per month, a high percentage of whom register with us to gain
access to a range of additional services. These include emailed property alerts
which are sent when member estate agents add or amend property prices and users
have access to the sold price records of HM Land Registry.
Over 4,000 leading
UK estate agent firms list all of their properties on Primelocation.com, including
Knight Frank, Savills and Hamptons. We are the leader in the upper and middle
markets and list over 400,000 properties, including over 230,000 prime UK properties
to buy and over 60,000 prime UK properties to let. Our International section carries
a selection of over 100,000 overseas properties from estate agents in over 60
countries, including France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Cyprus, South Africa, Dubai,
Australia, Croatia and Bulgaria.
Primelocation.com also publishes a monthly
property magazine, which is hand-delivered to 110,000 pre-selected homes in prime
areas of London. The magazine carries over 100 pages of property advertising from
our member estate agents. It also carries non-property advertising on selected
prime page positions. Primelocation.com publishes the 'Prime Property Prices Index'
report on a monthly basis, which provides analyses of house price trends across
Great Britain. In addition, an international prime property search index is produced
highlighting demand for international property on the site amongst UK-based property
hunters. This bi-monthly index lists the most popular international property search
destinations.
